The City Council chooses the most iconic bars in Seville
They say that in Seville there are more bars than hospital beds. The service sector plays a predominant role in the city, not only because of the growing number of tourists and visitors it receives, but also because of the healthy habit of frequenting these places that the inhabitants of this beautiful city are so used to. From Monday to Sunday, any time is a good time to have a great time within the walls of these establishments, many of which are centuries old.
And there are all kinds, for all tastes and colours. But the City Council has wanted to give special recognition to those considered to be iconic bars in Seville, as well as other businesses such as jewellery shops and clothing stores. To qualify, they must meet a series of requirements, such as being more than 40 years old or being relevant to traditional Sevillian culture in its material, economic and social aspects.
