Fuengirola Fair kicks off with a star-studded music line-up

As the bustle of the high season fades away, in Fuengirola, rather than calming down, its biggest celebrations begin. The festivities in honour of the Virgen del Rosario bring some very special days to this coastal town, such as the Fuengirola Fair, which will take place from 6 to 12 October.

Before that, on Sunday the 2nd, the people of Fuengirola will start warming up with the traditional pilgrimage in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary. At 10:00 a.m., the pilgrims’ mass will take place at Rosario parish, after which the pilgrimage will begin. The Patron Saint will be taken by oxen to El Esparragal Park, in the neighbouring town of Mijas. There, local residents will enjoy a lively day of gathering together which will also feature musical performances by Fran Alba, at 6:00 p.m., and Carlos Bravo, at 8:00 p.m.
